Name-i hümayun to Venedik doju and begs. The previous kadı of Edirne, mevlana (the title for kadıs) Ali recorded kefere taifesi and registered them to hazine defteri. But he also recorded bailos, and elcis of Ingiltere, Fransa, and ……. petitioned that according to the ahdname given during the time of Suleyman han, people who came for trade to memalik-i mahruse from the mentioned eyalets and their reaya and translators do not have to give haraj. It is decided in favor of the petition. No harac should be taken from bazirgans, men serving under bailo, the head translator Markanton [Marcantonio Borisi] and other translators and their men, and reayas. (the decree is crossed!)
